Rare Tuesday Rant

There is something that has been driving me nuts this summer and maybe the women of the DC can help me understand a little better ...What's the fascination with never putting down your pocketbooks and carrying them everywhere no matter what you are doing ?

For instance , Yesterday I was umpiring a game in West Haven and there is a track that surrounds the field we were on and during innings I was watching the people around the track and there was this girl who was decked out in her spandex and brand new running shoes walking along at a pretty brisk rate .....with her pocketbook in hand ?!@?#? Leave the fucking thing in the car lady , it isnt going to run away !

Or you get these girls who want to be cool and get into sports because there husband or boyfriend is into it and likes to go to games with him ( which we really dont like because we are hanging with the guys and really cant be guys when your around but dont want you to feel bad so we say yes) and she get donned up with the apparel , get the hat on and heads out towards the tailgate to meet up with the other people your with ....with your pocketbook in hand !@#

Leave it at home , there is a time and place for it ! (geez , I kinda sound a little girly )
