Hoot's Monday Morning Quickie

What's up everyone? I hope everyone one is doing just fine out there in this big ol world we live in. I almost forgot that Richie is gone this week so this one is gonna be a short one today. Let's do it.

What happens when you put good people in an evil place? Does humanity win over evil, or does evil triumph? These are some of the questions we posed in this dramatic simulation of prison life conducted in the summer of 1971 at Stanford University.

Since about ten years Theo Jansen is occupied with the making of a new nature. Not pollen or seeds but plastic yellow tubes are used as the basic matierial of this new nature. He makes skeletons which are able to walk on the wind. Eventualy he wants to put these animals out in herds on the beaches, so they will live their own lives.
