HAPPY HALLOWEEN !

For all you CT historian type people , Today's a day you want to head with that digital camera and snap some pictures because the New Haven Coliseum is coming down starting today . It has finally passed it's last hurdle and is slated for demolition starting today ....And I am sad.

I have had many good times in that building , saw many amazing shows and worked many concerts ( the extra $ was nice ) . For all of you who dont know , I used to work with a guy who had the contract for the Coliseum loading and unloading the gear for every show that came to New Haven . We used to get there in the morning , unload then get our All Access backstage passes for the day . We could come and go as we please , go where ever wanted except for the Dressing Rooms 2 hours before showtime. I have met very cool people anywhere from Ozzy to Bob Backlund ...that wide of a range .

The Coliseum will be sorely missed by me for sure. Im going to start a thread in the forums today and I want you to tell me a little about your best and worst NH Coliseum experiences. Have Fun
