Well Im going to turn into a plugwhore today and try to use the power of this website to put some of our members in a better place by your help .

1st off , forum member meancarlene plays in a band named .....well ...Mean Carlene and they just put out thier 1st original Cd and it sounds great . So go to thier site and listen to some of the tunes and pick one up. It is also for a very good cause and you can read about that here .

2nd , As I wrote on monday The New Haven Advocate's "Best Of" poll is out and Boogietrunks is looking to win best new bar this year so go to the site and make sure # 94 says BRICK ALLEY TAVERN . Weve took over this poll before so lets do it again !

3rd , Boogietrunks is also in the WH fireworks Chili Cookoff at the IA club in West Haven this saturday so try to get out there and help him defend his title .
